On My Big Fat Fabulous Life, Whitney Thore and Hunter Thore are going on a family vacation together. However, Whitney’s mood gets turned upside down when she hears some upsetting news. She gets a voicemail from her boyfriend, the French Man, stating he isn’t going to meet her on the trip. This causes Whitney to get very upset. But, she tries her best to stay positive.
Whitney says she wants to hold it together as best as she can. But, she wants to try to focus on the main purpose of the trip, instead of her boyfriend. Hunter Thore asks Whitney if the French man is going to be making the trip. At first, Whitney lies to him and tells him he is going to be making the trip.
Yet, Whitney knows she has to tell her family about the news. She says everyone’s going to know something is up. However, she claims she doesn’t want her brother to say “I told you so” on My Big Fat Fabulous Life.

My Big Fat Fabulous Life personality Whitney Thore finally breaks the news about her boyfriend to her family. She shares the update that the French man isn’t coming on the family vacation. Hunter Thore says either the French man is playing his sister. The other option is the French man isn’t responsible. But, Hunter believes these are the only two options.
Yet, Hunter Thore says if his sister’s boyfriend wanted to be on the family trip, he would’ve been there. In a group discussion about Whitney’s boyfriend, Hunter speaks up. He tells his sister if things are meant to be, it will work out. But, this seems to anger Whitney. In a sassy reply, she tells her brother “that’s why you’re still single.”

During a personal moment on a tour boat, Whitney Thore and Hunter Thore sit down to chat on My Big Fat Fabulous Life. Hunter says he doesn’t like seeing his sister upset. But, he shares he believes his sister moves too fast. Yet, Whitney tries to defend herself.

The two of them begin to yell at one another. Hunter says he wishes his sister would see her boyfriend “flaked” on her instead of “acting so dumb.” But, Whitney from My Big Fat Fabulous Life says her brother is making her feel “like an idiot.”
Things come to a boiling point at this point in the argument and she ends up turning her back on her brother. Thankfully, the two of them were able to have a heart-to-heart conversation and make up for the fight they had.
